~ A crucified, victorious heart ~
Empty promises
“Don’t look back my daughter”
•
indescribable pain
“Count it all joy, child”
•
false accusations
“You asked to be like Me”
•
unfair treatments
“Blessed are you…”
•
chaos and uncertainty
“My grace is sufficent for you”
•
gut-wrenching betrayal
“All gain, my love”
•
clouded judgements
“Truly I say to you, rejoice”
•
broken expectations
“Keep your gaze on Me”
•
to attempt to speak and be silenced
“Great is your reward in heaven”
•
to have pure intentions and be misunderstood
“Precious one, you are fully known by Me”
•
to be completely blindsided and take the fall
“Trust My heart, I do love you”
•
to give it your all — past the point where it hurts and still be rejected
“Precious one, the last shall be first and the first shall be last”
•
unfulfilled holy desires
“Thank you for your sacrifice”
•
unbearable sufferings of injustice
“They did it to Me first”
•
countless untattered blows to the soul
“Seventy times seven my princess”
•
overwhelming heartbreak
“You will rise above this”
•
sullen defeat
“This is not your battle to fight — give it back”
•
‘But Lord…why?’ — with a jaded heart and locked soul
•
“Darling, give me every beat of your heart
Let me quiet your weary soul
You asked me to break you
I, the Divine Physician, will put you back together
I, the author of life, will re-write your story
Give me everything, petal
Nothing is wasted with Me”
•
In desperation, I boldly approached the throneroom
‘Abba, be glorified in my need’ — full out blind surrender
*Fiat*
•
“Thank you my kiddo. Now I can work…”
•
Waves of graces flooded into my soul
sheer passion stirred up my vision
ardent love within me overflowed
Falling to my knees, I agonized for heaven — “My Lord and my God”
This was a beuatiful poem from Lauren McNamara
It really touched me. I can be blinded by dark negative thoughts and this changes the perspective and allows me to be more happy in the worst situation.
Beautiful refreshing it puts my heart at rest in the Lord. Thank God!
